Mobifone: To Give Video Optimization Facility In Mobiles.
Mobifone has signed a contract with Ericsson for video optimization of mobiles. About 29 million clients who are Mobifone subscribers will get an improvised viewing experience on their mobiles. Mobifone, is one of the first operators globally to obtain the advanced and efficient video technology.
Le Ngoc Minh, the Chairman of Mobifone, said that due to the limited network availability, Vietnamese people will view more video on their mobiles as compared to their PCs. He further added that owing to the increasing demand for an enhanced video quality on mobiles they were looking for a solution that could reduce the transmission costs while providing faster downloads. The Ericsson MSP effectively lets the people making use of mobiles to reduce costs and provide a broader range of multimedia services.
